a fun trigger is that when my mom hums along with the theme song to midnight diner it makes me want to flip a table and break all of the dishes in the house. it fills me with an almost indescribable level of anger, disgust, and hatred. it’s been fifteen minutes and I’m barely starting to calm down. I wouldn’t be this angry if a stranger punched me in the face. by “fun” by the way I mean “horribly unpleasant”
a fun mental thrillness thing is looking at the posts you make when you’re triggered or in the middle of some sort of episode and recognizing that you really felt like that but having no emotional connection to it. by fun this time I mean… certainly a distinctive experience.
