I’m rarely more overstimulated than when I’m at home and my mom and grandma are around the house. like, time-restricted crowded conventions are more overstimulating, work is less so. owl city over the speakers? tranquilizing. the murmur of my grandmother’s TV, her clanking around in the kitchen and talking to the dog, my mom on the phone, fucking… breathing noises audible from two rooms away because this house has the opposite of sound insulation?
