my mom: “you have adult friends who live together, don’t any of them have to keep their houses in order” not like you do, mom, because “making an energy-intensive task demand of someone at midnight and then shouting at that person for an extended period of time while they’re asleep the next morning because they didn’t get it done while angrily doing it yourself”, is not a reasonable way of keeping your house in order
