@fozzie thank you for pointing that out! that was an inappropriate choice of language on my part. I’ll be adding a note on my most recent version of the post and changing the language where I originally used it from “High Femme” to “conventionally hyperfeminine”. wonder woman’s canonical depictions absolutely correspond with mainstream heterosexual femininity, rather than the lesbian identity and aesthetic of femme.
