I’m glad I decided to go to a slash meetup tomorrow because I think it’ll be good to get out of the house

yeah it’s nice. honestly it’s nice just being around a bunch of 50+ year olds who are like. happy being friends who hang out on a regular basis, who have interests similar to mine. it’s nice the idea that I could be middle aged and living in an apartment with a bunch of LGBT books and fandom merch, feeding my cats and hanging out with my fandom friends talking about life and highlander: the series.
