if you’re comfortable/able making calls you can really just call people basically wherever and ask stuff. I just called a library in Hawaii and then the USC library to ask what their lost books policies are because Los Angeles public libraries are all closed and while they can’t tell me LAPL policies, they can give me general insight. you can call your school, you can call other peoples schools, you can call whoever! tbh you can often ask people questions in certain public locations as well. pretty powerful stuff, if you ask me.
