I’m not particularly distressed about this (we have. a lot of succulents.) but when my grandmother told me a about this it was in the form of this dialogue: “nick, can you talk” [yeah] “something happened” [???] “$neighborname saw someone pull up to the side of the house with a truck” [???!?] “and you know the cactus in location details” […] “this person stole the cactus!”
I understand like, checking in with people about anything unusual or unpleasant but I really wish she wouldn’t phrase stuff in this HIGHLY alarming way
