for example, I went into puberty at age eight and my parents were supposed to keep taking me to appointments to monitor what was going on with my growth but they didn’t. was I involved in this decisionmaking? maybe? I don’t remember. I remember being asked if I wanted hormone blocker shots and declining, but that’s about it. it’s interesting piecing together stuff that happened to you years after the fact.

it’s hard dealing with my grandma as she increasingly realizes that she’s losing mobility, energy, and memory, and becomes more and more easily frustrated and confused. she does a lot of stuff that’s just weird and sometimes she does stuff that’s very frustrating or inconvenient and sometimes she does things that are very dangerous. as annoying and troubling as much of this may be, it’s… reassuring knowing that at least she’s with us - as many difficulties as she has, and as frustrating as they might sometimes be, she’s close by, and we can help her. we can take care of her. every thing like this is also a reminder to be grateful that she’s settled into our household and isn’t going through all of this alone and hours away.

Rosie isn’t Cured after five days so… fucking *cancer treatment*? what do the doctors really know? like… she believes in the incredible curative powers of vitamins and homeopathy and that’s It
